Real Engineers, Real Fun
What's real and what's fake? It's hard to tell these days, but at PHYTEC we have real engineers helping real customers solve real challenges and we're still having fun doing it, 30 years later. Whether it's free schematic reviews to help catch any RX TX swaps or power sequencing issues, engineer-to-engineer trainings, or getting your questions answered in our support queue, what you will find are engineers who are passionate about problem solving, expert puzzlers and real people who genuinely enjoy digging into technical challenges and sharing knowledge with others.

PHYTEC America turned 30 this year! PHYTEC globally celebrated 40 years in the industry, founded back in 1986 but our North America branch opened in 1996. We made a quick video time capsule of our work for the past 30 years featuring all the faces and people behind the products, and it's pretty obvious we know how to work hard and still have fun.
Happy Birthday PHYTEC America!

Demo: phyFLEX-AM62P HandHeld
Possibly, slightly biased, but PHYTEC had the coolest demo Embedded World 2026. Our engineers set out to prove a point: you can prototype your end device with a PHYTEC SOM in less than 6 weeks. That message is no fluffy marketing sauce, it's the proof in our pudding. It's the everyday experience we bring to the table to help our customers get to market faster, stay in production longer, and figure out all the hiccups along the way, together. With PHYTEC in your corner, you always have a partner.
Who doesn't love a good time-lapse video? We love them, so we made one of our engineers working on this project from start to finish. From part kitting and stenciling to MSPM0 breadboard prototyping and schematic capture, there’s a lot of satisfying detail packed into just a few minutes of video. If only development happened this fast in real life. Let our team of engineers help bring your ideas to life by providing real solutions in real time.

Demo: Scalable Graphics with FPSC
Graphics scalability using PHYTEC's FPSC phyFLEX SOMs built on TI's AM62P and AM62L processors

Not every application needs a GPU, but every application needs the right processor. In this demo, PHYTEC shows how the FPSC Standard footprint lets developers scale seamlessly between two phyFLEX SOMs: the GPU-accelerated phyFLEX-AM62P (GLMark benchmark score 630) and CPU-driven phyFLEX-AM62L. This SOM interchangeability enables developers to match hardware capability to application demand. By using the same base board and similarly layered BSPs, developers can easily port applications and compare graphical performance directly, from simple 2D CPU-rendered HMIs to full 3D GPU-accelerated interfaces without redesigning the entire platform.

Real Solutions
Cortex-M7 Development Guide and Kit Accessory
Ever struggled with multi-core development? Ever tried to migrate from Bare Metal to Linux? Simultaneous MCU and MPU Development is no joke, but we've got solutions.
This quarter one of our expert applications engineers spun up a solution for simplified multi-core development, JTAG access, UART expansion on the phyCORE-i.MX8M Plus. You can now use our JTAG Expansion Board Accessory for direct access to the M7 core.

Great for customers in development who want to use both the A53 and M7 cores on NXP's i.MX 8M Plus
Schematics Made Simple
Starting in January, downloading schematics and accessing PHYTEC Documentation is now easier than ever. Visit our Schematics Made Simple page and get started with your next PHYTEC SOM integration.
We offer free schematic reviews when you design in a PHYTEC SOM. Your schematic is reviewed by a PHYTEC Hardware Engineer, often the same one who designed the SOM. Their unique insight is invaluable for catching design errors or other issues that might affect the quality and functionality of your end product.
Our customers love this service because it minimizes design spins, reduces complications with board bring up and minimizes e-waste.
CRA Readiness
With PHYTEC Headquarters and in-house manufacturing in Germany, we're ahead of the curve in helping customers succeed with CRA-compliance. September 2026 is the next deadline for vulnerability reporting, are your products ready for these changes? Need help migrating to a secure platform?
Our recent webinar with NXP drew over 1,000 participants, highlighting how critical embedded security is for companies delivering trustworthy products. If we think customers of the near future will entertain the idea of using products and services not secured from the root of design, we're all fooling ourselves. CRA compliance may feel overwhelming, but PHYTEC has already paved the way with Secure Boot, OTA updates, and guidance from our trusted security partners to help implement requirements from design through compliance.
If you missed the webinar you can watch the recording with the link below.
