PHYTEC joins COVID-19 Response PPE Maker Team

In reaction to the shortage of protective wear for medical and other essential personnel in the current pandemic situation, the 3D printing community globally has been creating protective face shields. The PHYTEC team (and our 3D printers) have joined the efforts to create and distribute face shields. This video is a walkthrough of the process to create a face shield.
To date the PHYTEC team has printed 400+ face shields and facilitated shipments to locations throughout the United States.
This would not be possible without the 3D printing community, who came together globally in this time of need. PHYTEC would like to recognize:
- Prusa 3-hole punch face shield design: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/27950-prusa-face-shield-us-version
- Local Kitsap County COVID-19 PPE Maker Team: https://kitsapmakers.org/covid-19/
- Those who generously donated time and materials toward this effort
If you are on the frontlines in need of PPE or a maker looking to get involved please contact PHYTEC on LinkedIn, Facebook, or by email.
