PHYTEC is a global company with in-house German production and design services. We are thrilled to announce the phyCORE-AM64x System on Module (SOM).
The phyCORE-AM64x SOM was designed with industrial environments in mind, for use with motor controllers, remote I/O, machine-to-machine communication, and robotics. The TI Sitara AM64x architecture is composed of up to seven cores: up to two Cortex-A53 applications cores for running your generic application software with Linux, up to four Cortex-R5F cores for critical real-time tasks, and one isolated Cortex-M4F core for functional safety features. The phyCORE-AM64x SOM supports the use of four PRU-ICSSG industrial Ethernet interfaces. These interfaces can be loaded with various industrial communication protocols such as TSN, EtherCAT®, PROFINET®, ETHERNET/IP® and others.
