QUESTION: What made you want to get into your field?
I’ve always been a creative person but also love working with data. Marketing has many creative avenues – design, content creation, analytics …. So there are a lot of very different things for me to do each day. Marketing can also be the reason that a business sinks or swims in a sea of competition. I love helping us swim.
QUESTION: What is your favorite thing about being a woman?
Being the better multitaskers.
QUESTION: What woman inspires you and why?
None in particular actually. However, being a mom of two, I’m always inspired by women that shine a light on issues of career/family balance, gender disparity in household responsibilities, and the need for accessible childcare, all while being a dedicated part of the team at work and attentive moms.
QUESTION: Are there any assumptions about women that you would like to change and why?
Can I replace women with working-moms? If so, I would like to say that I sometimes wish people would know how hard we work just to show up every day. While working-moms might sometimes look tired I can assure you that we are excellent at prioritizing as well as productive and efficient as heck.

QUESTION: What do you believe will be the biggest challenge for the generation of women behind you?
I think the greatest challenge for the generation of women behind me will be achieving work life balance. I hope they will be able to take full advantage of what has been accomplished by previous generations of women without sacrificing their personal lives.
QUESTION: What advice would you give a woman who wants to enter the same field as you?
Don’t just work harder – check and validate that you’re working smarter
